Sea Otter Gran Fondo
Is anyone planning on riding this? There are 40, 80 and 120km events. I was thinking of doing the 80km and thought there might be some other members interested in going, especially after the strong turnout at the Blue Mountain Gran/Medio Fondo.

Re: Guess the component...
I guess the spokes do give it away a bit. It's a Mailard Helicomatic hub, a French alternative to Shimano's Freehub Cassette built from 82 to 88 that never really took off! Nice bit of machining though! It's on my 1984 Raleigh Record Sprint which I brought back from the UK this Winter. Anyone up for...

Guess the component...
I've been working on my old classic bike this winter. Can anyone guess the component from the photo?

Re: Criterium race Southampton July 24
Thanks Jim. I guess an attack in the last couple of laps would be the way to go (assuming I'm still in touch).

Re: Front carbon clincher 88mm
Hi Martin
Is this wheel still for sale? How windy would it have to be before you would switch to a less deep rim?

Re: Provincial cycling strategy
In my opinion this document is a step forward, but it doesn't go far enough. It is draft at the moment though so it is a good time to comment (the last document was written 20 years ago). Comments can either be about the type of infrastructure you would like to see, the level of financial commitment...

Noquemanon snow bike race
Hi I'm thinking of heading over to Northern Michigan for the Noquemanon "world championship" 50km snow bike race in late January. It's part of their big xc ski race weekend (see below). I was wondering if anyone is interested in either the ski or bike races, and sharing driving/fuel costs?...
