Club members that have been around for a while may remember George Morgan of Port Elgin. George was an avid mountain biker and trail builder and had a big hand in the creation of the Sawmill trails. Well those spiral splines don't look at all familiar, but judging from it's shape and the spokes in the background, I'd say it's the inside of a free-hub although of what make I have no idea. Campagnolo?

There is fresh tar and chip on the Lindenwood road both east and west of the road between Wolsely and Copper Kettle ( Grey rd.#17)) it is of good quality and should pack down pretty quickly. Also a section on the old stone school road near Hepworth.

I was riding out to Kemble tonight(tuesday), and the chipseal has started at Wolseley out to Lake Charles, I imagine that the rest of the roads will be done by the end of the week. It looks as though they are using a small stone chip and in a couple of weeks the road shouldn't be too bad.
